❤️ Zenness is Stretching 🙏🏻

Today is Thursday August 6, 2020. Wow this week is flying by! I am really glad I forgot to set my alarm yesterday. It was nice to have a day of rest and stretching (yes, I stretch everyday). I feel completely revived and ready for my day. I had an amazing Pilates private session with Cecilia this morning. I always stretch for about twenty minutes before she arrives. This way, I am warmed up and we can get right to it. While I was warming up, I had the groovin' Stevie Wonder playing on my phone. Zen x Ten.

We did a lot of deep stretching today. I am thrilled to be where I am physically. My flexibility is coming back in a big way! However, I have to work at it seven days a week, because as I wrote in an earlier post, PD is backstage at all times waiting for its opportunity to tighten my body up. Sorry PD. I am the star of this show.

I had a very productive day. I took care of things that I have been putting off and made some very important calls. I may have PD, but I am still me and have lots of drive left. I decided to put on a full face of makeup around 2:30 pm to see if I could still do it. Last time I tried (January), my right hand was ridiculously shaky and I was extremely light headed (over medicated). In contrast, not only was I able to put my makeup on, but my right hand was so still and strong that I was able to apply mascara! I am one happy girl :)

It is now 6:30pm. I just finished watering my front and back garden. I took my Rytary at 6 pm and at 6:15, my body began to tighten up. I am now propped up in bed resting until it passes. The good news is that it indeed did pass (but it took awhile) around 7:45 and I was able to enjoy the rest of my night. Have beautiful dreams! Tomorrow is Friday!

🙏🏼 To be able to stretch renews my body and soul 🌺
