Today is Thursday, July 9, 2020. I had a very restful night's sleep. I woke up later than usual as I went to bed around 12:45 am. I got up at 8:15 am. I had breakfast (cereal) at 8:30 and took my first Rytary dosage at 8:45 am. As usual, I went back to bed after taking Rytary to wait it out. It is now 11:05 am and I am feeling a little light headed and tired. I realize I am dehydrated, so I am drinking a ton of water. I am back in bed resting again. I have never done well with intense heat , but now I can't tolerate that kind of heat at all. This too shall pass, as they say. I finally emerged out of bed around 11:30 am, just in time to take my next dosage at 11:45 am. I am definitely feeling better, but have decided to just stay home today. At 1pm I broke out my adult coloring book. I colored for about an hour. Talk about Zen and a great way to keep my right hand strong and flexible! I am feeling great now! I am finding that the days that I exercise in the morning, I have a much less chance of feeling sick throughout the day. Not only that, but my body responds so positively to Pilates. When I was first diagnosed the words "Keep Moving" were engrained in me, and boy, is it ever true. I pride myself on my flexibility and what I an able to do physically. Now it is crucial that I stretch and exercise everyday to keep my body from tightening up (and it can happen very quickly). The rest of the day was great! It's now 8:30 pm. I'm ready to call it a night. Good night to you and yours! Stay strong!
This is one of my coloring pages that I colored. This is a great stress releaser and helps to strengthen my right hand. Focus can be a huge issue with PD. This kind of activity requires a lot of focus to pick out colors and then stay with it. I highly recommend you try it!
