Although Saturday evening was difficult, my morning was the polar opposite. My day began with a private Pilates session with Cecilia. I take her Zoom mat classes Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Those are group sessions, so the focus is on all of us. (Yes…. She is that good that she is able to correct us even on the computer)! During our private sessions (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), the focus is entirely on me. What impresses me the most about Cecilia is her undeniable thirst for knowledge on PD. She attends many workshops to learn the latest and greatest ways to help me. She has the ability to tap into what I really need, without me having to make suggestions. I have known her for 3 years, and in that time, I have seen such improvement in my body. We didn’t cross paths by accident. More on Cecilia later.
After our amazing Pilates session, a friend and I walked a mile to a restaurant to have breakfast. After we ate, we sat for a bit and chatted and then walked another mile back to my house. I felt absolutely wonderful the entire morning into the early afternoon. These wonderful moments are the moments that we must cherish and remember when we have a challenging moment or two. The key is to stay active, healthy and positive!
A Perfect Day Always Begins with Pilates! Pilates has brought me right back to my Ballet roots!
